Frequently Asked Questions
A: At The Hideout, we strive to make our charming and lively setting accessible to everyone. It is important to note that while wheelchair users can access the main areas of our restaurant, due to the unique layout of our building, we do not have wheelchair access to the toilets. The restrooms are located up three steps which do have a handrail for support. We continuously work towards enhancing the accessibility of our facility and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. For any specific assistance or additional information, please don't hesitate to contact our staff directly.
A: Yes, The Hideout is very child-friendly! Our Little Rock Stars menu is for kids aged 12 and under: a main and a drink for £8, and they can add a scoop of ice cream for £3. We have lots of games and colouring to keep kids busy, and a PS1 with classic games for older children. We provide high chairs, and a baby changing table is available on request. On Wednesdays it's The Switch Off: phones down, games out and a Family Feast that feeds 4 for £45.
A: Yes, parking is conveniently available at The Hideout! You can enjoy up to 3 hours of free parking on all the surrounding streets. To take advantage of this, all you need is a parking disk, which we are happy to provide free of charge. Simply request a parking disk upon your arrival at the restaurant. The disks are supplied to us by North Yorkshire Council and are easy to use. Just display the disk on your vehicle's dashboard, set the time of your arrival, and you're all set to enjoy your meal without worrying about parking fees. We strive to make your visit as hassle-free and enjoyable as possible!
A: We no longer offer blue light or military discounts, as margins in hospitality are tight. We do have offers every week: 2 cocktails for £15 every day, a £10 soup and toastie deal until 3pm, a Family Feast that feeds 4 for £45 on Wednesdays and £10 pizzas on Thursdays. Follow us on social media and join our mailing list to hear about new deals first.
A: We're open Wednesday and Thursday 12pm to 9pm, Friday and Saturday 12pm to 10pm, and Sunday 12pm to 6pm. We're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays until Christmas.
